ARI and channel-manager operations for Bangladesh hotels

Hotels should not need a second daily extranet to reach B2B travel demand. This guide explains how ARI data moves from a Bangladesh hotel's existing channel manager into RNR ROOMS, what the onboarding team checks, and where the hotel keeps control.

Operating guide

ARI is the operating data behind a live room

ARI means availability, rates, and inventory. In a B2B distribution workflow, restrictions such as stop-sells, minimum stays, and occupancy rules also affect whether a room can be searched and booked. A connection is useful only when those controls remain aligned with the hotel's source system.

RNR's hotel onboarding model is designed to connect through the channel manager a property already uses. Current supported examples on the public platform page include ByteBeds, SiteMinder, CloudBeds, and RateTiger; the exact connection is confirmed during onboarding.

The hotel keeps rate and allocation control

The hotel controls its net rates, allocations, stop-sells, and restrictions. RNR distributes the live source data to B2B buyers, while the property continues to make the revenue and inventory decisions in its existing operating system.

That is the practical difference between an additional distribution channel and a second manual workload: the team updates the source once, then the connection carries the agreed data onward.

What the onboarding team checks

Onboarding starts with the property details and a direct contract. The team collects content, maps room types and rate plans, links the channel-manager connection, and runs test bookings before the property is made live to buyers.

  • Property identity, contact ownership, and the signed commercial agreement.
  • Room names, occupancy rules, board basis, rate plans, and cancellation terms.
  • Availability, rate, inventory, and restriction updates from the agreed source.
  • A test booking, confirmation, cancellation path, and reservation delivery back to the property.
  • An escalation route for booking or guest issues after launch.

When a rate or room changes

The source remains the hotel's channel manager or agreed loading path. When the revenue team changes a rate, allocation, or restriction there, RNR receives the update and makes it available to the connected buyer network according to the connection behavior and agreed rules.

If the hotel sees an unexpected booking or mapping issue, the fastest path is to identify the property, room, rate plan, stay dates, and source update. That gives operations and technical support enough context to trace the booking lifecycle.
